Dear family,

Ok, i don´t have a lot of time to write. yesterday was a holiday (they have one here about every 2 or three week it seem like) and so EVERYTHING was closed. so we didn´t have a way to email. so now we are trying to email this morning before we head to our district meeting. ok, first of all before i forget, HAPPY FATHER´S DAY DAD!!! and to my brother´s as well. Holy Smokes, can´t believe you are both fathers. haha. And that is so cool that Patrick was blessed on the anniversary of Jacob and Becky. Happy anniversary!!! And that´s cool that abby got braces.

ok, let´s see. we had a baptism this past saturday. it is amazing how Heavenly Father blesses you for your diligence. Even though we have had a lot of trials this transfer with our investigators, Heavenly Father is still throwing out miracles right and left. The very first Sunday of our transfer we went to church and there was a new member who just moved into the ward. She had been inactive for a long time but had a change of heart and has really committed to being active. But, she had a 9 year old son (Alexander Ramirez) who was never baptized. So, we started teaching him and he loves praying, loves reading the scriptures and the liahona, and basically is just a miracle.

We fortunately didn´t have lunch on saturday, so we went to the church to eat and we had the feeling we should check the baptisimal font and start filling it. Good thing too!! we opened up the door and there was old, old water that had dead bugs and everything in the font. not just that, but there was a whole bunch of film on the walls too. So, we stripped our shoes and socks and started cleaning. Good thing the brother that was in charge of filling the font showed up, because he helped a lot. haha. The problem was we had to clean it really, really fast because it takes about 3 hrs to fill and we only had 2 1/2 until the baptism. we were blessed to not have many problems and everything turned out great.

anyway, no more time to write. i´ll try to send pictures the following monday. :)

love you all,
Sarah
