sorry i didn´t write yesterday. we had some complications and so i am writing today.
anyway, this last week was an interesting one. actually it was real good. we found a teen named Patricio who is the friend of a member. We went and taught him and he told us that he wants to be closer to God and learn more about Him. It was so great. So now we are helping him prepare to be baptized. Also, this sunday we saw tons of miracles. I feel like I say this after every fast sunday, but I LOVE fast sundays. seriously. we can always see lots of miracles. For example, we were fasting to have more people in sacrament meeting that aren´t members. We didn´t know who we would take, but we had a few people planned. They almost all fell and we were sad. But, when we went to sacrament meeting, there were a few people that we weren´t expecting. They came to see a baby blessing. It was so great.
right now we are struggling to find people in their homes when they say they will be there. it is a little bit frustrating, but then i always remember that as long as we do our part, Heavenly Father will guide us where we need to go. Also, since we started from zero in this new area, there are many people that we have found, but haven´t had a chance to teach. I´m excited to see what happens in this area in the future. I think we have found lots of good people that someday will be ready to hear the gospel. Maybe their aren´t right now, but they will.
Oh, and yesterday we were super excited because we contacted a family that is really friendly. Turns out they have 8 children. Dad, I told them that you are one of 8 kids in your family as well. I´m excited to go back and teach them.
Oh, and i´m super excited because the next week Elder Aidukaitis from the seventy is going to come and do a conference with us. I´ve heard a lot about him, and so i´m excited to learn from him. well, i guess that is all. back to work. Until next week!
Love, sarah
